7 Week Chakra Segment – Sacral Chakra
Greetings light beings! As we transition our focus from our Root Chakra to this weeks focus – Svadhisthana or the Sacral Chakra, we shift our attention to creativity, emotion, pleasure, sensuality, intimacy, and connection. Associated with Water, The Sacral Chakra is located at the navel and also associated with the color orange. While the Root Chakra satisfies with survival and security, the Sacral Chakra seeks pleasure and enjoyment. The word Svadhisthana is sanskrit for “dwelling place of the self.” This is the chakra that rules our physical manifestation, is the seat for our creativity and its balance determines how well we see ourselves in the physical world. It is the chakra that allows us to experience our true desires, and to see the world as a magical and profound place! It governs our self worth and our relationships with others.
When your Sacral Chakra is balanced, your feelings flow freely and you can express yourself without any hesitation. This energy is the center for creating relationships of all kinds. It is where we develop an inward sense of self and an outward awareness of others, ego, sexuality, and family and defined as we work with this energy. The feelings of other people are directly perceived through mastery of this chakra’s energy. An overactive Sacral Chakra tends to manifest with manipulation, lustfulness, and addictiveness – where an underactive Sacral Chakra tends to manifest with codependency, submissiveness, and an overall feeling of being shut down.
Tools for balancing the Sacral Chakra

Each crystal is unique in how it assists and expresses, however, each stone has specific frequencies and strengths as well. Find one that you connect with, your intuition should always be your first guide when selecting which crystals to bring home.
Essential Oils: Jasmine, Rose, Ylang Ylang, and Clary Sage are all associated with the Sacral Chakra. Use a diffuser to ignite your space, a diluted spray, or wear the oils on your body to reconnect and balance the Sacral Chakra.

Creating a beautiful raw fruit salad is a great way to integrate these foods into your daily life! Add an affirmation and some focused thought and intention setting during preparation for a gloriously and deliciously charged up Sacral Chakra meal.
Sound Therapy: The Sacral Chakra harmonizes with the frequencies of the note “D” Its seed mantra is “VAM.” Chanting this mantra in a D note can help immensely to break down blockage or stagnancy and create balance and clarity.
In closing – let us remember the element associated with the Sacral Chakra is Water. There is much to learn and pick up on from this information alone. Water is free flowing, it can be calm, serene, and peaceful – but it can also be ruthless, heavy, and destructive. This is the same for the energy of our Sacral Chakra. Once we bring awareness and focused attention to the space of our Sacral Chakra and establish if there is any over/under activity…we have done the hardest work. First we must put ourselves in the know – only from there may we freely flow.
We hope this information has been useful, empowering, and fun!
With endless love ~
